THE FEELING BODY

2018

It is a body of great feelings,

Yet it rarely reveals itself to strangers other than the self.

There is so much it wants to say,

So much anger, disappointment, sadness to pay.

Boild up, tied down, nowhere to go,

Here it finds an escape.

Between the lines, signs, and notes,

Silently typed and anticipated.

Uncertain still who will know,

The narrow alleyway of lonely sorrow.

Tapping on the window of the invisible,

That once thought itself to be invincible.

Underneath there is lots to see,

But of course on the surface it cannot be seen.

Pain, shame, name your game,

Pushed aside or to be hidden away.

Who will rescue it from this grave?

Or release the creature from its chains?
